Bio of  Yvonne van Wyk:

Yvonne says that she found her purpose for teaching over 20 years ago. During that time, she watched children struggle and seem unable to grasp and apply information. Every child she has worked with over the years has inspired her to further her studies and find better ways to assist them with learning.
Further to her Bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education, she has increased the tools that enable her to help children learn. These include Neurotherapy, Family and Trauma counselling and NLP. (Neuro-linguistic programming is a way of changing someone’s thoughts and behaviours to help achieve desired outcomes for them. It may reduce anxiety and improve overall well-being.( Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)
As a mother of 3 school-aged children and an out-of-the-box educator, she understands how difficult it may be to navigate a child’s education. Her aim is to assist parents in understanding their child’s strengths and finding the best path for their success.
