Steave Ahokou
Bio of Steave Ahokou:
With a background in social science, Steave has been advocating the use of Assistive Technology for children with dyslexia for almost 10 years.
Lexima develops various (software) programs for users aged 5 to 99, to prevent, remediate and compensate for reading, writing and learning difficulties, helping hundreds of thousands of users overcome their learning challenges. Their literacy support software Alinea (English, French, Dutch) is approved by various European Ministries of Education as recommended literacy support software for students from the age of 6 years.
His first experience working for Lexima is still the driving force that pushes him to help inform schools, parents and other caregivers (i.e. speech therapists) about the compensating benefits of literacy support software.
Steave lives in Belgium and is currently working as Channel Manager for the Dutch-based company Lexima, partnering with Educat in Cape Town, South Africa.
